Phrasal Verb: cram in / into

If many people or animals cram in (or cram into) somewhere they all go into a place that is too small for them to fit in comfortably.

Examples of use:
1. The teenagers crammed into the stadium to see their favourite band.

2. Eight of us crammed into the manager’s tiny office for the staff meeting.

infinitive – cram in / cram into

present simple – cram in / into and crams in / into

-ing form – cramming in / into

past simple – crammed in / into

past participle – crammed in / into
