Phrasal Verb: fool around

To fool around (or fool about) is to spend time having fun, or to behave in a very silly way.

 

Examples of use:

1. Will you stop fooling around and do your homework, please?

2. He fools around in lessons and drives his teachers crazy.

3. We spent the day fooling around on the beach.
