1. To fall for someone or something is to feel a strong attraction to someone or something.
Informal English.
Examples of use:
a) Ben and Sally only met last week, but I think they have fallen for each other already.
b) Mary fell for the designer wedding dress as soon as she saw it.
2. To fall for something also means to be tricked into believing something that is not true.
Example of use:
She fell for an email scam that told her she had won $40000.
