Phrasal Verb: get along

three friends

When you get along with one or more people you are friendly with each other and have a harmonious relationship.

Examples of use:
1. I have good neighbours and we all get along.

2. My daughter and her friends are playing in the garden and they are all getting along so well.

infinitive – get along

present simple – get along and gets along

-ing form – getting along

past simple – got along

past participle - got along
